Genesis Networks Names Xavier De Vynck as Vice President, EMEAWednesday, November 14, 2007
NEW YORK — Genesis Networks, a provider of next-generation global video
transmission services, has appointed Xavier De Vynck as the company’s
vice president for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). De Vynck
will work directly with Genesis Networks’ CEO, Paul Dujardin, to
continue expanding the company’s infrastructure in support of a rapidly
growing network of installations and users in the EMEA region.
De Vynck is a 20-year veteran of the broadcasting technology industry.
Prior to joining Genesis Networks, he was senior vice president of
French broadcast software provider NETIA SA, where he had served since
1997. His other positions at NETIA included vice president of business
development and international sales and marketing director. Prior to
NETIA, De Vynck served as regional sales manager, Europe, for AAVS SA,
a French systems integrator and distributor for the broadcasting
industry. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he founded and managed
Eurosound NV, a Belgian company providing background music, musical
identity services, and systems integration for mid-sized broadcasting
projects.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining Genesis Networks. There is
definite momentum in the EMEA region for cost-effective, global
solutions that deliver premium-quality video across continents for a
wide range of programming, and that provide broadcasters with complete
control and flexibility,” said De Vynck. “I’m looking forward to
helping Genesis Networks grow its market presence in this exciting
region.”
“Xavier brings an ideal combination of qualities and skills to his new
position, including in-depth experience, knowledge of the industry, and
a passion for broadcasting excellence and technology leadership,” said
Paul Dujardin, CEO of Genesis Networks. “We’re very pleased that he has
chosen to join us and we look forward to working with him to expand our
reach in the EMEA region.”
